Feel Good and Do Good

Get out of the house, spend an exciting week on Oahu, and reclaim YOU while lifting up organizations that matter. The Coconut Traveler itineraries aim to do good, but this one is next level. Every day you'll be moved by nature, wildlife, and the ocean. With the wind in your hair and the sun on your skin, you'll be making a positive impact in the community. We'll show you things you might have never seen and you'll engage with projects you might have never considered.

  • Sailing the deep, blue Pacific Ocean aboard one of the island's most beautiful yachts and snorkeling in Turtle Canyon will benefit a local turtle adoption program.

  • Getting up early to witness the sunrise over the horizon from a perch above the historic Makapu'u Lighthouse will provide support to a Hawaiian heritage foundation dedicated to preserving historic island sites.

  • By joining a world-renown Hawaiian canoe steersman in a 400 lb. canoe you'll lend support to a scholarship for a local kid, keiki, who might not otherwise have the opportunity to feel a paddle cut through the water.

  • Standup paddling or kayaking to an outlying island will provide resources to local folks who take their time to clean the island of debris and trash.

  • Your spectacular island tour by private helicopter will softly land on a cliff and bring into view the epic destination of your afternoon sail aboard the island's only historic Tall Ship which will directly support a program for at-risk teenagers.

  • Take a swim with sharks or take it in from aboard, this experience to learn about shark behavior with a renowned environmentalist will change everything you thought about this perceived predator. Your being there will further research and education.

  • Your guide and steed will take you across a private ranch to take in gorgeous property and ocean views, and you'll plant a tree in support of clean air for all.

And in support of you, Oahu will provide clean water, clean air, and a clean conscience. Read more here.

A Day Trip from your Private Home

Combine Hawaii 452 in beautiful Puako on the Big Island with a trip across the island to a tea plantation for an afternoon of learning and tasting. Stop in Honoka'a for lunch at any of the charming restaurants and don't miss Tex's. From $1250 per night.

Reserve Maui 114 and wake up at the front door to Turtle Town and trip into the calm water of Makena. The entire family will love the ease of snorkeling with wildlife for a week. And on the days that you've had enough sun, we'll set you up with a guide for a private hike along, under, and in up to five waterfalls. From $3000 per night.

Confirm your stay in Kauai 212 with a bird's eye view of both Anini Beach and Kalihiwai Bay and you'll be sure to catch a glimpse of our Hawaii State Bird, the Nene Goose. Enjoy a trip to a nearby center where you learn how this beautiful goose moved from the endangered list to the threatened list a couple of years ago and the incredible effort it took by scientists and enthusiasts around the world.

From $6800 per night.

The Governor's guidelines are in place and working well to protect locals and visitors alike, giving you peace of mind when traveling to Hawaii.
